American Red Cross is dedicated to helping make families and communities safer at home and around the world. As a
volunteer, you may choose what area of Red Cross you wish to serve.
Whether you become a safety trainer teaching valuable lifesaving skills
or a disaster responder helping families after devastating home fires,
the Red Cross provides training and mentoring in the following areas to help you in your
volunteer career:
 Health & Safety Services
Become a certified instructor and teach people how to save a life with CPR, First Aid and other life-saving skills. Earn volunteer service hours!
Disaster Relief
Help right here in the Tulsa area after fires and floods, or travel throughout the country to assist after hurricanes, tornadoes and other disasters.
Armed Forces Emergency Services
Help family members communicate with loved ones in the U.S. Military.
Youth Involvement Programs
Volunteer in one of our several youth programs including Students Teaching AIDS to Youth, Red Cross Council and Red Cross School Clubs.
Clerical Assistance
Utilize your specialized skills, such as accounting, human resources or public relations, and help our offices in your area of expertise.
Transportation Blood Driver
Assist in ensuring that our Red Cross life-saving blood is delivered to local hospitals in the Tulsa area. Volunteer drivers also make blood delivery runs to the northeast and southeast part of our state. Some deliveries may be considered emergency runs.
Health Programs
Help spread health education by volunteering in one of our many health-related programs including teaching culturally specific HIV and AIDS prevention information to ethnic groups and presenting basic health issues to low-income families.
AmeriCorps
Sign up to serve America through the AmeriCorps program at the Tulsa Red Cross. Make a real difference in your service!
